Peep, Peep

Hello!

I am playing along with a couple of challenges today using this sweet image from Pink and Main's Easter Peeps set.  I can just hear this little one cheeping away in its little basket, can't you??

I colored the image with comics and then used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for my layout, using some Bunnyville patterned paper from Doodlebug.  I'm also entering this in the Little Red Wagon "Down on the Farm" challenge.  What is a farm without baby chicks in the spring?? :)

Thanks for dropping by!

Hot Cocoa, Anyone?

Greetings!

Our theme for the CAS challenge this week over at Splitcoaststampers is CHOCOLATE.  Mmmmm!!  I just love this cute little monster from Your Next Stamp ready to dive into his cup of hot chocolate.  Isn't he fun with the googly eyes??  I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and added some gel pen accents and I followed this week's Sketch challenge for the layout.  I cut the card about 1/2" narrower than normal so the patterned paper could hang over the edge, but the card can still fit in a normal envelope.

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Pink and Main Love is In the Air

Hello friends!

I made a card with my new Hummingbird set from Pink and Main to play along in their "Love is in the Air" challenge.

I think those flowers are so pretty!!  And the hummingbird is fun to color, too.

I hope you'll play along!

Pink and Main Birthday Owl

Hello friends!

I need a few birthday cards for next month so I decided to play along with a challenge or two. :). First, Little Red Wagon where they are asking you to choose a company you love and feature their stamps.  Oh dear!  There are WAY too many to choose from, so I decided to feature an image from a  new favorite of mine - Pink and Main, and a sentiment from an old favorite - Verve.  Maybe next time I'll do Your Next Stamp - or Craftin Desert Divas - or one of my favorite digi companies...  this list could be endless!! :). I also used a favorite paper pad from Doodlebug, my go-to markers - Spectrum Noir, and my white gel pen - LOVE!

I used a sketch from Tuesday Morning sketches for my layout...

Thanks for dropping by today!

Thoughtfulness=YOU

Good morning!

I was feeling overwhelmed by all of the Valentine cards online yesterday, so I decided to make a spring card instead!!  I am looking forward to spring!!  I used the sweet Phoebe with Wagon set from Your Next Stamp to make my scene and used designer paper from Doodlebug's Bunnyville line.

Have a splendid day!

Hi

I was able to pick up this sweet girl from Stamping Bella when she was on sale at the beginning of the month.  I adore her huge pencil and the ... "hi".  That's about all I can think of to say when I write a letter (or a blog post!), too!!!

I watercolored the image with my Distress Markers and added a few gel pen accents.

I'm playing along with the Stamping Bella challenge to use dies.
Thanks for looking!

Little Green Monsters

Hi everyone!

I have a card to share today that I made to cheer up a little boy who just found out he has cancer.  I thought this fun image by Your Next Stamp might make him smile.  The inside says "It's snow joke.  You're awesome!"

I followed the sketch for this week's sketch and color challenge at Your Next Stamp.

Snort!

Hi everyone!

I'm playing along with today's sketch at Tuesday Morning sketches with this fun pig digi by Gerda Steiner Designs.  When you play along in the GSD challenge every month you get the next month's digi free.  I think this is maybe meant for a Valentine, but I thought that this sentiment (retired - KnK Designs) was perfect for it.  I have DEFINITELY had days like this!! : )

Have a splendid day!
