Hi everyone!  Welcome to my stop on today's hop!  Both of my cards today feature the fabulous new Ang and Me paper pack.

First up, a card with Debbie's "Let's Talk" set.  I  did a simple vertical card with strips of
patterned paper, then added the sentiment with pop dots.

My next card uses the same colorway.  This time I used Melanie's new Fabulous Frame set and stamped the large frame on a piece of layering weight white cardstock..  I adhered pieces of patterned paper to the other side of the cardstock and then cut them out to make my frame.  The butterfly is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and the sentiment is from the Let's Talk set.  I know that the Fabulous Frame set is already sold out, but you can put it on backorder, or check out Melanie's other frame sets HERE.  All of them will be fun  with this technique!

Isn't that SUCH a different look from the other card with the frame set that I showed at the party??  It's fun to change things up!

And in case you missed the party, here's another card with the Let's Talk set, as well!

Thanks SO much for stopping in to see me today!  Remember that all of the new products are available NOW at Gina K Designs!  Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team for more inspiration with the new sets, and leave lots of love.  Here's the info and the list ...

{Stamp Simply} Bee-utiful Day

Mojo Monday had a wonderful sketch this week, and I had some new goodies on my desk to play with!  I just love these whimsical JustRite sets that look like they are handstitched.  I made my background with the Floral Stitched Background stamp.  Then I got out some of my Spectrum Noir markers and colored the vine, flower and leaf from the Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags set and the little bee from the Garden Tools set.

I used some paper from the Kaisercraft Hello Sunshine pad (which is just ADORABLE!) and an assortment of diecuts beneath my colored images.  The bee is attached to a little wooden clothespin type clip.  I have a package of these and you'll be seeing more of them on my cards!  They are SO sweet, and the recipient can take them off and use them to hold papers together, clip a tag to a gift bag or make a little magnet for the fridge.  What fun!  I added a few enamel dots to pull it all together, and there you have it... a happy card!

{Gina K Designs} You are Loved

I'm playing along with the Fan Club challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers with today's card.  I used the Fan Club sketch for the month and a stamp from the "Here Comes the Sun" Stamp TV Kit that was released last month.  I colored the flower with Spectrum Noir markers and added a ribbon and a tag.  The sentiment is from another Gina K set "Comfort and Peace".

By the way, there are new Gina K Sets being released this Thursday!  Be sure to check out the sneak peeks on Gina's Blog over the next couple of days!!

{Viva La Verve} Extra Goodness

I needed two notes yesterday, and had these scraps of Webster's Pages Recorded paper from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store sitting on my desk (which is 1/2 off right now!), so I decided to put them to good use. : )

I was following the first of June's VLV sketches, so I used some MFT BluePrints dies and the Leafy Flourish die for some of my main pieces, then die cut a few pieces of white for the flowers that I stamped from Verve's Surely Goodness set.  A few buttons with twine or Stamper's floss and it was done!

I had a few more scraps, so I made this sweet little 3x3 card, too...

{Stamp Simply} Planting Love

There is just something about summertime that makes red, white, and blue such happy colors!!  I love seeing all the flags around town in honor of Memorial Day and Flag Day, and it won't be too long before we celebrate the 4th of July!  And then it will only be a few months until Christmas!  Where does the time go??

I love the dainty patterns in the Pebbles Americana paper pack.  They remind me of a summer picnic.  And this little Deep Red Gardening Girl stamp has the same feel.  I combined the image with a sentiment from the JustRite Poppies set and added in little bits and pieces of ribbon and cord that made me think of the flag.  I pierced around the edges of my main image for some extra texture... remind me that I need a new paper piercer, ok?? : )  And added some red rhinestones cuz they are pretty!!

Here are the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store products that I used today...

The Compass

Today's card is a clean and simple "manly" card with a nautical theme to fit a couple of challenges.  I combined the compass from the Gina K "Ship to Shore" set (from the new Stamp TV kit) with a verse from Verve, in a "clean and graphic" style as defined by The Card Concept challenge.

I added the ship's wheel inside the card with the sentiment.  You can see it peeking out in there! : )

My challenges for today...

{Gina K} Floral Wreath

Hi everyone!

I had so much fun the other day playing with my Flower Builder set from the new Here Comes the Sun Stamp TV Kit!

For this card, I took the stems and leaves stamp and curved it on my block like this...

After I stamped the stems and leaves in a circle with GKD Grass Green ink, I added some Mango dots , and popped up a number of flowers stamped in GKD Turquoise Sea and In the Navy.

Oh, and the little green dots?  When I bent my stems and leaves stamp, a tiny bit of the stamp stuck up in the middle.  It inked along with my stamp and gave me the dots... I'm pretending I meant for that to happen!! : )

I added a simple flat ribbon treatment with Navy Gingham ribbon, then matted my image panel with Mango and In the Navy cardstock.   It's a flat card with dimension, so it's easy to mail, but still has lots of interest.  My favorite!!

I have a challenge up on StampTV this morning based on this card ... or I will in a few minutes!  I'd love for you to join me!!

{Stamp Simply} Hooray!

Good morning, everyone!

It's been quiet here on my blog!  I had my daughter home from college last week and I think I'm still catching up with myself.  :)  I do have a fun Stamp Simply card today, though!

I stamped the whimsical JustRite Shooting stars background in Kraft ink onto a sand colored cardstock.  Then I cut a small piece of 1.5" striped ribbon and attached a tiny bit of leftover star paper from my BoBunny Anthem pad to make a flag.  I made a flag pole by cutting a thin strip of the sandy cardstock and then directly applying my kraft ink pad to it to give it a stained wood look.  I added a little brad to the top and some velvet ribbon streamers.  The stamped a sentiment from the "Let Freedom Ring" set in black to finish it off.

{Stamp Simply} Let Freedom Ring

I have such a fun, patriotic card to share today, featuring the JustRite set Let Freedom Ring, and papers from BoBunny's Anthem paper pad.  Lately I've been having card ideas just pop into my mind randomly, and this one came to mind after seeing the Viva La Verve sketch from last Friday.

I didn't follow it exactly, but you can see how it inspired me! : )

I colored my image with new-to-me Spectrum Noir markers - a less expensive version of copics that I think I'm going to just love!  I popped my image up over a background created with strips of Anthem paper cut between 1.25" - 1.5" wide, backed with a larger, less busy, sheet of designer paper.  Then I added a scrap of banner, a star and some buttons to round out my design.

Here's today's Stamp Simply shopping list:

Blessings!

{Gina K Designs} Here Comes the Sun Stamp TV Kit Blog Hop

The Cast and Crew of Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Cast and Crew will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will be choosing ONE winner and the prize is a Grab Bag of fabulous Vintage Cuts and Shapes that match the Here Comes The Sun STV Kit, as well as some other embellishments and goodies to match the kit!  To see the winner announcement, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

I'm SO excited to be participating in my first hop as a designer for Gina K Designs.  What an honor!  And what could make it more exciting still?  I get to show you cards made with the newest Stamp TV kit!  WooHoo!!  It's fantastic!  Have you ordered yours yet????

Let's start with a couple of cards with the Ship to Shore set...

My first card is clean and simple - featuring the pretty red designer paper included in the kit, some stamping and a fussy cut heart.  The finished card size is 4.25" square.

This next card is my FAVORITE.  I started by sponging Turquoise Sea, Grass Green and Sweet Corn ink on a piece of Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Heavyweight White Cardstock.  Then I stamped some of the images from the set onto the background using some GKD Black Onyx ink.  I stamped the birds twice in a row to get the varying colors.  I stamped the compass an extra time or two in GKD Grass Green ink just to add some dimension.  After my background was all prepared I attached a matted sentiment tag and stitched the completed focal panel to a white mat.   The stitched mat is popped up using foam tape over a Turquoise sea mat which is layered on the Grass Green card base.  Honestly, that took my longer to type out than it did to make!! : )

Now a couple of cards with the Flower Builders set!

In the kit you'll find this pretty piece of white designer paper covered with vines.  I decided to use that as my base and add some stamped flowers and dots to dress it up!  I used Passionate Pink and Sweet corn inks and stamped the pretty little bold flower and dots on my paper, then cut it to size and matted it on Black Onyx cardstock.  After adding my sentiment I also added a piece of white cardstock that I had embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.  It added some texture and gave me the perfect place for a few of the brads that are included in the kit!

My last card uses the pretty bold flower and leaf sprig from the kit, as well as lots of embossing.  I love the texture of the embossing directly over the stamped leaves on the white panel, and there are polka dots everywhere... Polka dots make everything better! : )  The other set of leaves was stamped in Grass Green ink onto Grass Green Cardstock and then cut out by hand.  I attached the sprig under my two-layered, popped-up flower to add some more dimension to my card.

Thanks SO much for stopping in to see me today!  Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team for more inspiration from the kit, and leave lots of love.  I've seen some of the cards and they are wonderful, plus there is a fantastic prize up for grabs!  Here's the info and the list ...
