Red, White and Whoo!

This precious Angel Company set called You Whoo has been waiting to see ink, and when I saw the OZ-some sketch for the week, I knew it would be a perfect time to break it out.  I followed Kerry's Color Throwdown for the colors, and I think I'll write in at as an Any Hero card and send it to Operation Write Home.

Cards for my Stash

I needed a thank you note and an anniversary card the other day, so I printed out some of my Sweet n Sassy digis to put these together.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bee Joyful

It's a gorgeous day here today and Whimsy and Stars Summery Mimi Bug would love it outside!  I followed the Card Positioning Systems Sketch for the week, using some My Mind's Eye Stella Rose and Gertie paper with a staple and a few pearls for accents.  I've been sending a lot of cards lately (I know!  I can't believe it either!!) so I'm trying to keep my cards a little flatter to make them easier to mail.  Mimi is colored with Copics and the grass is added in with a Prismacolor pencil.

Challenges:

Happy, happy, happy!

I needed a graduation card for a younger friend, so I colored up this sweet Birthday Bear digi from KnK Designs and drew a little graduation cap for him... or her?   Lots of dots and a little ruffled ribbon - I hope my friend will like it and I think I'll enter it in the Paper and Such Inspiration challenge, too!

Whimsy and Stars Sneak Peek!

Don't you just love new release time at Whimsy and Stars?  There are always such adorable digis released, and this Saturday will be no exception!!  I used the new Sweet Pea digi with the CardPositioning Systems sketch for my card.  The image is colored with Copics, and the yellow along the edges is pastels.  "Baby" is an older SU stamp that I found in my stash.   I went with gingham paper for the Digital Tuesday Challenge, and all the yellow and white qualifies me for the Inspiration Challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches, too!

Be sure to stop by Whimsy and Stars on Saturday to see the new goodies!

Surprise!

Kolar and his bunny friend are back at it in this digi being released today at KnK Designs.  Doesn't Kolar look so peaceful???  Then - KERWHAM! - Surprise!!!!  Bwahahahaha!  Too funny!  I used the CardPatterns sketch as my jumping off point (I'm so punny today!), and paper from the MME Stella Rose and Mabel pack.  Be sure to drop in to KnK to see the new releases.  You *have* to see what the bunny's been painting!!!

Have a lovely day!

Hi

Guess what!  There's a release at K n K Designs tomorrow!  Don't miss all the adorable sets coming out!  For today's card I used an older KnK digi called "Spring Rain" and colored it with copics.  The paper is from My Minds Eye and  the sentiment is from the TAC set "You Whoo".

Hopefully I'll have this posted in time to enter it in this week's Tuesday Throwdown challenge:  Animals!

See you tomorrow!!

Blessings!

An Expensive Football

Is your husband hard to buy for??  Mine is!  But he loves football, and especially his Green Bay Packers, so this year I decided to go "all out" and get him a football autographed by the Packers quarterback and Super Bowl MVP, Aaron Rodgers.... well, sorta!  A card was as close as I could get!  I used the adorable Cocoa Loves Football digi from Sweet n Sassy stamps (Did you know Sweet n Sassy now has a forum???  There's challenges and all sorts of stuff.  You have to stop by!!).  I colored Cocoa with copics and added the signature with a white gel pen.  The inside reads... "Here's an autographed Aaron Rodgers football " and then I stamped "...For the man I love".  I kept the card really simple, with no embellishments, cuz I know my dh wouldn't care if they were there or not! LOL!!

I get to enter this in all sorts of challenges this week.  It seems everyone is looking for masculine or Father's Day cards!! :-)

Creative Inspirations - Father's Day
Dream Valley Challenges - Father's Day
Sentimental Sundays - Father's Day plus Sentiment
Stampin Sisters in Christ - Father's Day
Crazy 4 Challenges - Masculine

Happy Bee-Day!!

I have a fun card today that uses the Gardening Bug digi from the Whimsy and Stars Etsy store.  The Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch was just perfect for her, and the sentiment from Stampin' Bella will make this a great birthday card for one of my friends who has the gardening bug...  (LOL!)

Paper is from The Angel Company - "Toodle Loo" and the image is colored with copics!

Challenges:

Designed 2 Delight:  Bug
Bee Crafty:  Summer

TAC Favorites Blog Hop

What a fun day!  Head on over to the Savvy Projects blog and take a peek at all the "favorite" cards that are linked up, then grab your favorite stamps from The Angel Company and make a card or project of your own to add to the hop!  For my "favorite" card I used a stamp set illustrated by my favorite designer - Mabelle RO - called "Dear Friend".  The sentiment is something I say all the time, so it's a favorite, too.  And I'm starting to love polka dots... so there are a lot of those on my card as well.  I colored with copics - my favorite way to color - and used my new favorite Toodle Loo cardstock.  Aren't those colors yummy???

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I can't wait to go hopping and be inspired!!  (I'll attach the links below my signature if you want to go hopping from here!)

Happy Today!

I played along with the Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for this week, using my sweet little Flower Girl digi from Whimsy and Stars.  I had to, of course, dive into the Angel Company order that I had just received and pull out some paper and ribbon to play with.  Then I added a sentiment from The Angel Company, too.  Oh!  Did you know that our dear  Mabelle from Whimsy and Stars has a brand new rubber stamp set that The Angel Company is sneak peeking just now?  It is *too cute*!!  I was blessed to win a TAC gift certificate in a challenge that I entered a few weeks ago and that set is high on my list... but the new catalog comes out soon and I know that Mabelle will have other sets in there, too.  So, I guess I'll just wait and see!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

One of those friends...

Kerry's Color Challenge for this month was so pretty!  I used another of the Adorable Animals (TAC - retired) that I colored during Copic Training last year.  The dp is mostly from The Angel Company, with a little MME and a few scraps from my desk thrown in. :-)  The sentiment is also from The Angel Company.  Oh - btw - the inside of the card says... "...that make the heart smile."  Awwwwww....

Praying for You

A dear friend and neighbor passed away this past weekend.  What a man of God he was!  His legacy is amazing.  He touched so many lives all over the world, that I feel privileged to have known him.  I made this card for his wife with the Poppies and Greetings set from Sweet n Sassy.  I think this is my very favorite SNSS set. It is so appropriate for so many occasions.

My image is stamped on watercolor paper and then watercolored with Tombow Markers and a paintbrush.  The dp is just scraps that were in my pile.
